I sat on my living room floor that night with friends wrapped all around the room and ten children bouncing and booming all through the house. The conversation, noise, and laughter made it feel like home. A house is just a house, but a home is something entirely different. And that cold January night, we were home.
So important to take those moments to care for yourself, especially during these very busy Mom years!

Kari, this is a beautiful post! I always enjoy your writing and photos. This one truly touched my heart. I love how you define your kid’s personalities, sun and moon, both are needed in this life. 40 is still young. My youngest is 40. Age never really bothered me until my 60’s. Now at 69 I feel old. Your family is so precious and often when reading your posts, I think back to earlier posts before your babies and think how much you have grown. You are a joy and a blessing and your words touch my heart in areas that need some more of the Lord. Thank you.
